The Case Believers Make for 432

Respectfully stated, the traditional claims run like this: 432 Hz is said to resonate with the Schumann resonance of the Earth, to align with the golden ratio and the geometry of nature, to have been the tuning of ancient instruments and sacred sites, and to produce more coherent, harmonious cymatic patterns — the shapes vibration draws in sand or water. Advocates describe the sound as warmer, softer, and more heart-centered, while 440 Hz is characterized as bright, tense, and mentally agitating.

Running the Numbers Honestly
